The DTE Corporate Finance team in Manchester currently has an opportunity at an Assistant Director, Director and Partner Designate level.  The level of appointment is wide as we are looking for the right type of person, there may be more than one role.  If you are the type of person that likes to challenge themselves, works as part of a team, is a self-starter and has a track record of business development experience, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Key responsibilities

Corporate Finance Director/Partner Designate

The new Corporate Finance Director will work closely with the Head of DTE Corporate Finance as well as another Director in leading the team and providing a wide range of corporate finance advisory services to SMEs across the North West and nationwide. You will play a crucial role in both managing client satisfaction and growing/mentoring our team. The new Director/Partner Designate will also liaise with colleagues in other departments across DTE to drive opportunities for cross-selling/up-selling our services.

Corporate Finance Assistant Director

You might currently be an Assistant Director or aspiring Senior Manager ready to take on new challenges and advance your career. As a Corporate Finance Assistant Director at DTE, you will support the company Directors in managing projects, ensuring the best possible client satisfaction while overseeing and supporting junior team members. The Assistant Director will also work with our marketing team in the wider company to enhance DTE Corporate Finance’s brand image and reputation.

Required skills and experience

  • A good understanding advisory work for both buy-side and sell-side clients, with a track record of managing projects to a successful close, preferably having worked with companies of different structures and sizes
  • Experience of winning new work (essential for the Corporate Finance Director/Partner Designate role)
  • Experience of managing team/training up junior team members
