The team at DTE Bury office have recently organised a bake-off competition to fundraise for MacMillan Cancer Support through a coffee morning event and raised a total of £250 for the charity.
Employees from various department joined in to bake chocolate brownies, raspberry cheesecake, Victoria sponge, and many other homemade sweet treats. The coffee morning attracted DTE Bury staff members on all 3 floors, as well as employees from other companies in the Exchange building, Bury.
The bake-off challenge, as well as fundraising coffee morning, proved to be a success, with Rachel Labrow, Personal Assistant to Directors, winning the competition with her scrumptious strawberry roulade. The event raised a total of £150 in donation from staff and guests, and the company contributed an additional donation of £100.
