DTE IT Support donated hard drives to help underprivileged children during lockdown
20 January 2021
As lockdown continues and schools are required to stay closed, many families across the country still do not have a laptop for their children to access school work.
To play our part in supporting underprivileged families and children during the pandemic, DTE IT Support has recently donated some old hard drives to Mission Computers, a social enterprise with an aim to provide opportunities for the underprivileged to access ICT while reducing e-waste. The hard drives have been used in laptops which are to be sent out to schools, and eventually handed to families in Cumbria that need laptops for their children to access school work.
