The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has released the 2023/24 rates for statutory adoption (SAP), maternity (SMP), paternity (SPP), shared paternity (ShPP), parental bereavement (SPBP) and sick pay (SSP) in its ‘Benefit and Pension Rates 2023 to 2034’ policy paper.
Rates for SMP, SPP, SAP, ShPP, and SPBP will be effective from 2 April, while SSP will apply from 6 April. The new rates can be found in the table below.
