Liverpool Tax Club, September 2019
12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
5 Chapel Street,
Liverpool, L3 9AG
Thank you for your time.
This event has ended.
In the past few months, we have seen a number of significant political events, and with the current state of uncertainty, most of us would no doubt be wondering what is in store regarding tax for businesses after 31 October. With that in mind, we would like to invite you to join us in our Autumn Tax Club in Liverpool.
During this upcoming Tax Club, Alan McCann, our Head of Tax Dispute Resolution, is going to provide the usual topical update of what is happening in the UK tax world, as well as potential policies that might be put in place should a no-deal Brexit happen.
In this Autumn 2019 Tax Club, we are also pleased to welcome a guest speaker, Ms Amy Mehers from Leonard Curtis. Amy will be speaking about the issues individuals have to consider when personal tax demands from HMRC are impossible to settle. She will cover the issue from English and Scottish law perspective.
DTE Tax Club is a free lunchtime event designed to provide tax professionals and general accountancy practitioners in the North West with an overview of the latest happenings in the tax world. DTE’s Head of Tax Dispute Resolution, Alan McCann, has hosted the Tax Clubs for over 15 years, building a unique support network for our many regular members.
The event takes place in a relaxed open discussion format, giving attendees the opportunity to get involved in discussion, share knowledge and experiences. Specialist guest speakers also offer an insight into more cutting edge topics. DTE holds each Tax Clubs series in 4 locations, Bury, Liverpool, Preston and Ellesmere Port.
Each Tax Club starts with a buffet lunch and is followed by the opportunity to engage with fellow professionals and chat in more depth with our speakers, helping establish that invaluable ‘support network’.
We hope you can join us and look forward to meeting you at one of our next sessions.
