A large construction company was threatened with a tax bill nearing £300,000 plus penalties as a result of a PAYE dispute. With expert guidance and support, in addition to regular and informed contact with the Inland Revenue, DTE's Tax Investigations Department ensured that the eventual bill was settled at a sum of less than half of the original demand.
