DTE Corporate Finance advise Leeds Trinity University College

Leeds Trinity University College, a higher education institution based in Horsforth, Leeds, has been granted a £6m facility by Barclays Bank for use in developing its estate.

Leeds Trinity's vision is to create a vibrant sustainable campus village contributing to a great student experience.

Leeds Trinity has around 2,500 students studying on a range of degree courses organised into three main faculty areas, Arts and Social Sciences, Education and Media, Business and Marketing.

The main priority is to improve Leeds Trinity's student residences, but the £11m capital project will also include a general refurbishment of the campus and a series of improvements to the main building.

The new student residencies project will include the demolition of two existing buildings and the new build of a 198 bed student residence on the existing site. The remainder of the capital spend will be funded by Leeds Trinity from its own resources.

Jill Bancroft, Vice Principal (Finance) at Leeds Trinity, who were advised by DTE Corporate Finance and solicitors Hammonds, said: "I'm delighted about this new phase in our development. We have worked closely with DTE Corporate Finance and Hammonds to achieve a great vision for the future of our campus. Our students and staff are very excited about the changes to our university community."
